Western lowland gorilla

A group of Western Lowland Gorillas is called a troop. were as most troops are have around 30 members in it western lowland gorillas have 4-8 members.The leader organizes troop activities like eating, nesting in leaves, and moving about the group's three-quarter- to 16-square-mile home range.
When an Alpha male (silver back) is challenged there is show of power which involves a lot of things being thrown around and roaring, pounding of the chest and aggressive charging.
Female Gorillas to one infant who is tiny and weight 2kg, once born it is capable of only holding onto its mothers fur. These infants ride on their mothers' backs from the age of four months through the first two or three years of their lives.
